What drives you? Carlow students are passionate about social justice, ethical leadership, and service to the community that has a meaningful impact. Founded by the Sisters of Mercy, Carlow is a private, co-educational university located in the heart of Pittsburgh’s “Eds, Meds, and Tech” district. Undergraduate and graduate degrees are offered in three major areas: Health and Wellness, Leadership and Social Change, and Innovation and Learning. Carlow graduates are in demand for their professional expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, creative mindset and their ability to manage change. Our athletic teams are known as the Celtics—a name that reflects the university’s Irish heritage and roots.
