Ecumenical Senior Center 3.07

Since 1992, the Ecumenical Senior Center has been committed to serving the needs of seniors and other individuals of Kalamazoo by providing a secure place for meals, fellowship, and education. This was made possible thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Carlson who have dedicated their retirement to helping others. Today, we are not only a place for seniors and disadvantaged individuals, but also provide services for every generation, young and old. The Ecumenical Senior Center is now a place where women can share ideas and grow, children can come in and learn new things, men can relax and unwind, and everyone can enjoy spending time together. We pride ourselves on being a great place that can provide activities for all walks of life. Our motto at the center is: We are just plain folk here. We don’t care about your race, religion, social or economic standing in the community or your education achievements. You are God’s creation and we love you.
