Newton Hills is a South Dakota state park with 128 campsites - includes 10 horse camp sites, 8 cabins (each sleeps 4 people), and one lodge. The park hosts many activities during the summer season. Each program is geared for families with young children and will expose participants to the natural and cultural features of the park.
Programs are held every Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Educational and entertaining films are presented Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:30 p.m. The park hosts a non-denominational church service Sunday at 9 a.m.
Other great features of Newton Hills include miles of horse, biking, and walking trails, picnicking areas, seasonal hunting, and the nearby Lake Lakota.
